Become a Cross-Cultural Ambassador

APU's Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to respond vocationally to the principal issues confronting today's globalized world, whether in international or in multicultural/domestic settings. Former global studies majors now serve in non-governmental organization (NGO) management, urban education, church leadership, social work, community organizing, foreign service, and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

The mission of the global studies program is to attract and develop an exceptional group of world learners through a unique combination of individualized mentoring, multidisciplinary coursework, intercultural fieldwork, and compassionate action. The aim is to equip students with the global knowledge, intercultural grace, practical learning skills, and moral imagination to support vocations dedicated to promoting God’s truth and justice in the world.
