Assessing Data for Decision Making

The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment serves Azusa Pacific University by collecting, synthesizing and converting data into accurate and consistent information useful for decision-making processes within the university community as APU strives to demonstrate God-honoring excellence to both internal and external audiences. The office exists to help establish, plan, organize, and promote effective program assessment policy, practices, and procedures. The office provides resources, training, and consultations designed to help academic and student life departments successfully assess their educational effectiveness. The office also serves APU by helping coordinate and facilitate the academic program review process.
