How Studying Entrepreneurship Can Prepare You to Run Your Own Business

Entrepreneurship has become a thriving field in recent years. If you are interested in one day running your own business, learn more about how studying entrepreneurship helps you build foundational skills to start your business.

Innovation in Action

Meet Matt Holguin ’02, MBA ’05. While at APU, Matt was encouraged to pursue his passion for business and his calling to be a pastor. This combination fueled him to form Working to Give, a for-profit business created for the sole purpose of earning money to give it away and make a difference in the lives of others. With each business created through Working to Give, 50 percent of profits go back into the community in which the business operates. Today, Matt hopes this vision will also help inspire others to see their careers—in any field—as ministry.
