Admitted Students
Steps for all admitted students:
1. I-20 and Admission Letter
An official admission letter will be mailed to you along with an APU I-20, indicating which term you are beginning at APU and your conditions for studying, if any. Important information is included in the admission packet.
2. Before Traveling to the U.S.
With your new I-20 or DS2019 from APU, you can apply for a student visa from the American Embassy or Consulate in your country. We suggest waiting until you secure your visa before purchasing an airline ticket.
3. Global Student Orientation
Global Student Orientation is held the week before the new term starts. This is the exciting time to learn all about APU and find long lasting friendships. For more information, contact isengagement@apu.edu or (626) 815-6000, Ext. 3727.
4. Tuition Payment and Registration
All international students are required to pay tuition and fees according to the arrangement made between your financial services counselor and you. You must maintain full-time status each semester. For more information, contact the office of International Student Compliance.
