Practical Ministry Degree

APU’s Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries program equips students for practical ministry. Students become equipped for professional ministry tasks and relationships by learning about themselves and about ministry. As part of this ministry degree, students may select from concentrations in church and pastoral ministries practices, intercultural Christian ministries, and ministry in urban and social service contexts.

Alongside diverse peers from every state and 41 countries, Christian ministries majors develop a theology of ministry for service in transformational Christian communities. They engage in multidisciplinary education and ministry experiences that promote theological reflection, faith integration, and spiritual formation, including hands-on ministry through internships in a church or other ministry settings in relationship with caring professors and other leaders. Christian ministries majors leave APU prepared and ready to make an impact on the world around them.
