Gavan Wyrick, MA

Gavan Wyrick, MA, has been a professional lighting designer, projections designer, technician, electrician, and stage manager for various theaters throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Wyrick leads Theater Arts students through the process of successfully executing all technical elements for every departmental production; his area of expertise is lighting design. Having joined the Department of Theater Arts in 2013, Wyrick became the technical director in 2019. He completed his MA in Leadership in 2021, with the goal of providing students with training to become talented technicians and effective backstage leaders.
