
Biography
Julia Heins, MA, is an artist and teacher based in Pasadena, California. Working in clay, her abstract forms push the limitation of this medium and explore the topics of femininity, autonomy, and body language. These themes are also discussed in her research and writings on modern and contemporary sculpture created by female artists.
